Below is a picture of the new Nike Eagles jersey for 2012. Looks the same right? That's because it is, almost literally. The Nike Swoosh has replaced the Reebok logo, but otherwise Eagles fans will see almost no change from previous seasons.
↵Not only did the Eagles not elect to redesign the look, they even rejected the new Nike technology (read more about what that is here). Here was Nike's statement explaining why the jerseys looked unchanged.
↵"The Philadelphia Eagles have chosen to stay with their traditional design aesthetic as well as their former uniform fabrication this year."
↵It should be interesting to see whether the Eagles do make changes in future seasons, but for now they've taken the most conservative approach possible. It's bad news for fans that were looking forward to the new unis, but good news for fans with older Eagles jerseys that now won't be out of date.
