NFL Draft 2012: Dontari Poe Visiting Eagles Facility, According To Report

Dontari Poe, who wowed executives and coaches with his dominance of the NFL combine, is visiting the Philadelphia Eagles facility on Thursday, according to a report.

Poe played collegiately at Memphis, and although his production in 2011 was disappointing (just 20 tackles and 1.0 sack), the nose tackle has flown up draft boards after flashing abundant athleticism and power at the combine.

The Eagles, who pick at number 15 in the upcoming draft, have a major need to upgrade their interior defensive line, and the interest is Poe is understandable. The trickier part of the equation is that he won't likely be available by the time Philadelphia selects, as a number of teams - including the Panthers and Chiefs - would seem to be interested in his services as well.

Each NFL team is allowed to host 30 prospects leading up the draft.
