Jacory Harris Signs With Philadelphia Eagles, According To Report

The Philadelphia Eagles have agreed to a deal with free agent quarterback Jacory Harris, the team announced on Friday.

Harris started for four years at the University of Miami, but went undrafted in the 2012 NFL Draft. He threw 70 touchdowns compared to 48 touchdowns and poses a dual-threat in the backfield, but was seen by many Miami fans as a symbol of what had gone wrong with the program. He was inconsistent and failed to lead Miami back to national prominence.

With Michael Vick the returning starter and Trent Edwards joining Mike Kafka on the team's depth chart behind the explosive lefty, Harris likely does not stand much of a chance to earn playing time at any time in the 2012 NFL season, assuming he makes the team.
