In SB Nation's 2012 Offseason NFL Power Rankings, Joel Thorman has the Philadelphia Eagles ranked 13th.
Thorman puts the Eagles third in the NFC East behind the New York Giants (third) and Dallas Cowboys (ninth). However, he does say that if Michael Vick can actually stay upright, Philadelphia has a good shot to win the division.
It's tough to blame people for being skeptical when it comes to the Eagles right now. They appear to have had an excellent draft and good free agency period, but after the disaster of 2011 it needs to be proven on the field.
No team in recent memory came in with more hype than Philly last year only to watch the season evaporate into thin air.
However, all signs are pointing up for a team that is relatively young and loaded with top-notch talent. With all the additions to this group, the Eagles are without question a team to watch very closely going forward.
