The Philadelphia Eagles have brought another draft pick into their nest.
On Monday morning, the official team twitter account announced that Nick Foles and the team have agreed to a four year contract. The terms of the deal have not yet been disclosed.
Foles, a third round pick out of Arizona, will back up Michael Vick right off the bat while learning the system. He was considered by many a hot prospect coming into the NFL Draft, with some saying he was the fourth best quarterback behind Andrew Luck, Robert Griffin III and Ryan Tannehill.
With Vick's injury history and an offensive line without Jason Peters, Foles could see playing time sooner than anybody would like. His development in OTA's and training camp will be an important thing to watch as the weeks unfold.
Foles showed great promise in the PAC 12. Now he'll need to prove he can handle competing with the best.
