Philadelphia Eagles OTAs 2012: Trent Cole Impressed With DeMeco Ryans And Fletcher Cox

The Philadelphia Eagles made two high-profile defensive acquisitions over the offseason, trading for linebacker DeMeco Ryans and defensive tackle Fletcher Cox.

Playing with the new duo at the team's OTAs has defensive end Trent Cole looking forward to the regular season.

"We’re looking good. I’m really excited to get the season started. We have some new additions, and we’re glad to have DeMeco Ryans and Fletcher Cox. These guys look really good out there, and all around it’s looking good so far," Cole said.

He added that Cox, the 12th pick in the 2012 NFL Draft out of Mississippi State, has lived up to his hype.

"I’m impressed with him," said Cole. "He’s a guy who is going to develop very well for us. He’s done a great job and caught on really well, and [defensive line coach Jim] Wash[burn] is giving him all the help that he needs and teaching him a lot of new things."
