Free agent Visanthe Shiancoe is reportedly negotiating with the Philadelphia Eagles and New England Patriots (via Steve Wyche).
The former Minnesota Vikings tight end worked out with the Eagles on Tuesday. After Shiancoe's workout, Philadelphia could delay a meeting with former Carolina Panthers tight end Jeremy Shockey, who is also a reported target for the Eagles (via Yahoo! Sports).
According to scouts and Shiancoe himself, the work out went well. Shiancoe said about his 20-minute session that it was, "Terrific. Very good. I like the way Philly runs things and their offense and things like that. I'm gonna have a talk with [agent] Drew [Rosenhaus] and weigh our options and things like that."
Shiancoe had 36 recpetions for 409 yards and three touchdowns for the Vikings in 2011. For his career, he has 243 receptions for 2,677 yards and 27 touchdowns.
