Eagles Training Camp 2012: Riley Cooper Suffers Collarbone Fracture, Jason Babin Has Calf Strain

Riley Cooper isn't a big name, but he's an important piece to a Philadelphia Eagles team looking to live up to it's enormous potential.

Unfortunately for Andy Reid and friends, Cooper sustained a left collarbone fracture at training camp on Saturday, according to Eagles Insider. Cooper is currently at the hospital undergoing further examinations.

If the initial report is indeed the case, Cooper could be missing quite a bit of time. In 2011, Cooper had 16 catches for 315 yards and a touchdown.

Also mentioned in the tweet is Jason Babin, who suffered a right calf strain during the afternoon. However, it's definitely not his Achilles tendon.

Babin will likely be day-to-day and may not sit for any time at all. If he does, Babin will likely be back on the field at full strength much sooner than later.

The star defensive end will take an MRI on Saturday evening just to be safe.
