Trent Cole is sitting out Philadelphia Eagles training camp Wednesday after injuring his AC joint Monday. Head coach Andy Reid could not give a definitive timetable for when the defensive end might be able to return.
AR: cole still has swelling, more today than yesterday. Has to come down before he can return. "Could be a day, could be a week."

With Justin Babin also out with a calf strain, the Eagles are without their top two defensive ends in training camp. With the veterans sidelined, unproven talents like Brandon Graham, Vinny Curry and Phillip Hunt will have more chances to prove themselves during practice.
The good news is that Cole's injury doesn't sound overly serious outside of some swelling. He finished with 44 tackles, 11 sacks and a forced fumble last season.
