Kevin Thomas Trade: Eagles Trade Moise Fokou, Greg Lloyd To Colts For Thomas, Conditional Pick

The Philadelphia Eagles have traded linebacker Moise Fokou and linebacker Greg Lloyd to the Indianapolis Colts for cornerback Kevin Thomas and a conditional seventh round draft pick in the 2013 NFL Draft.

Thomas (6-0, 192) is a third-year corner out of USC. Thomas played nine games for the Colts in 2011 and started five. He made 33 tackles in those games and defended three passes. He spent his rookie season on the injured reserve list.

Fokou played for the Eagles for the past three seasons, making 112 tackles (85 solo) and one sack in 43 games (22 starts). Lloyd spent most of his rookie year last season on the practice squad.

Eagles general manager Howie Roseman said about Thomas:

"This is a big corner that can run and he was with the [Indianapolis] Colts last year and he played some. He started some games for them and has played some cover two. We think he can go press and is instinctive. We scouted him at USC and he'll come compete with our other corners and add competition to that spot."
