During the first period of the Flyers vs Lightning game a few nights ago, the Flyers played a video tribute package for longtime Flyer Simon Gagne. Afterward, Gagne said he felt "lost" on the ice.
↵↵↵"Something I will remember the rest of my life," said Gagne, who for the first time played in Philly as an opponent.
↵"I was a little lost on the ice after that," said Gagne, a two-time All-Star who scored 259 goals for the Flyers. "I didn't want to cry. I was trying not to, but it was hard."

No doubt Simon is one of the good guys and it was nice to see the Flyers acknowledge him. I'm not sure if I remember any other local team doing the same for a guy that hadn't yet retired.
