Recap: Philadelphia Flyers Win Fourth Straight With Victory Over Carolina Hurricanes

Scott Hartnell scored twice and rookie goaltender Sergei Bobrovsky made 26 saves as the Philadelphia Flyers beat the Carolina Hurricanes 3-2 to win their fourth straight game. The Flyers struck first from Hartnell as he knocked in the rebound of a Jeff Carter shot. 

Carolina would respond in the second Patrick Dwyer, the NHL's youngest player, capitalized on a turnover by James VanReimsdyk and flicked a wrister by Bobrovsky. Claude Giroux would give the Flyers the lead back on a power play feed from Mike Richards. Scott Hartnell would give the Flyers lead for good in the third when he put a Kimmo Timonen pass by Carolina goalie Justin Peters.

The Hurricanes would make it a bit uncomfortable scoring with just :27 left in the game, but the Flyers hung on for their fourth straight win. Next up the Flyers host the rival New York Rangers for the first time this season.
