Sergei Bobrovsky Second In All Star Voting, Despite Not Being On Ballot

Canadiens' goalie Carey Price and Flyers' Sergei Bobrovsky are currently 1-2 in the fan voting for the NHL all star game. Given the way they've played this season and the excitement in the fanbases over the young goalies, that's not a huge shock. What is surprising is that they lead the voting despite not even being listed on the ballot.

That means fans all over the NHL are writing in their names. Not bad for a guy that even the Flyers players didn't know existed before the season.

"I didn't know who he was in camp," said teammate Sean O'Donnell, but it didn't take long for the rest of the League to figure it out. Flyers fans desperate for a young goaltender they can call their own already have began chanting "Bob" after every save at the Wells Fargo Center. They've also cast 116,725 votes for him for the All-Star Game, making him the leading rookie vote-getter by a wide margin.
