Flyers Schedule 2011: Mixed Bag For Philadelphia This Week

Philadelphia enters the week tied atop the Atlantic Division standings. For more on the Flyers check out Broad Street Hockey.

Just like the month of November itself, the Flyers schedule this week comes in like a lamb and out like a lion. It's important that the Flyers take advantage of winnable games, sitting tied atop the Atlantic Division with the Penguins, who return Sidney Crosby on Monday against the Islanders.

For the second straight Monday, Philadelphia gets the Hurricanes, who the Flyers beat 5-3 in Carolina last week. That game is at 7:00 p.m. ET on Comcast. Then Philadelphia travels to visit the Islanders, who have lost 11 of their last 13 games. That game is on Wednesday at 7 p.m. ET on Comcast.

Then the schedule gets a bit tougher. On Friday at 3 p.m. ET on Comcast, the Flyers host Montreal, which beat Philadelphia 5-1 in the first meeting between the teams this season. Then Philadelphia closes out the week on the road against the red-hot Rangers.
