In a short week for Philadelphia, the Flyers schedule includes two road games in the Sunshine State this week. Philadelphia will face the Lightning on Wednesday and the Panthers on Sunday.
Last week, the Flyers won two of their three games, including a nice win against the Sabres and a 9-2 blowout against an overmatched Blue Jackets squad. But Philadelphia can't be all satisfied after losing a mid-week shootout to division rival New Jersey.
The Lightning (7-5-2) and Panthers (6-4-3) present a decent challenge. Tampa Bay has a potent offense, ranking fifth in the NHL is goals per game and 11th in power play efficiency. That could be a nightmare if Flyers goaltender Ilya Bryzgalov has one of *those* games.
Of course, the Flyers are scoring more than any team in the NHL. They can handle a shootout.
