After a long layoff, the Philadelphia Flyers schedule resumes with two road games this week. The first is on Friday (10 p.m., TCN-PH), when the Flyers visit Anaheim for a meeting with the Ducks.
The Ducks, despite a 2-7-1 record in their last 10 games, enter the matchup on the heels of a 4-1 victory against Montreal.
The Flyers have not played since falling to the New York Rangers on Saturday, 2-0, in an effort that underwhelmed coach Peter Laviolette.
"It seemed to me that the pop we need to play the game, it was not where it needed to be," Flyers coach Peter Laviolette said. "When we did get shots, Lundqvist had no problem seeing them. I think we needed a better job of support getting guys to the net."
After meeting the Ducks, the Flyers continue their road trip against the Phoenix Coyotes on Saturday (8 p.m., CSN-PH). The Coyotes are 6-4-2 at home.
