Philadelphia got 5 of 8 possible points, but is now looking up at Boston's ridiculous 1.46 five-on-five goal ratio.

The Penguins continue to fall towards the middle of the pack despite maintaining 3rd place. Injuries will do that.

Washington is gaining on the East's best, and they're only one point behind Tampa for the Southeast Division lead. All while getting some really poor luck.

Canadiens_medium 5

The Canadiens continue to linger, only getting 10 points in their last ten games. Holding steady.

Tampa Bay is barely holding onto the Southeast lead, but they have two games in hand on Washington. Somehow, they still have a minus-6 goal differential and a 0.95 five-on-five ratio.

Sabres_medium 7
7
The Sabres look primed for a run, as they are within striking distance of the playoffs. They have a better five-on-five ratio than the Rangers and Hurricanes, and at least 3 games in hand on both.

New York has only gotten 7 points in their last ten games, and they will need to do better if they want to stay ahead of the two teams on their heels.

Hurricanes_medium 9

The Hurricanes moved up despite only getting 9 points in their last ten games. Still, they're a good team who is right on the bubble.

Atlanta continues to fall out of the playoff picture, and now they have to worry about their ownership situation causing the team to move. Ouch.

The Panthers have been passed in the standings by Toronto, which is pretty bad. Next week, they'll probably be passed by Toronto here too.

Toronto is only one point out of 10th place in the East. Getting 14 points in ten games will do that.

The Devils will not make the playoffs. They are on a ridiculous run, but they have gotten ridiculously lucky. Stop dreaming.

Chicago is still in 10th place, but they're only two points out of fifth. Getting 6 points in the last four games is a good start.

Nashville is in 6th place in the West, and they've only scored 5 goals in their last three games. They will need better scoring if they want to keep winning.

Kings_medium 7

The Kings only got three points in their last three games, but they managed to climb into 8th place in the West. Only two points separate 5th from 11th in the West, with L.A. in the middle.

Minnesota recorded 5 points in four games, but that was good enough to move up. They're atop the jumbled mess that is the West's playoff bubble.

St. Louis scored at least three goals in all four games last week, but only got four points. They'll need to shore up the defense if they plan to make up the 5 points between them and the playoffs.
