Chris Pronger Reportedly Out For Game Five

Despite indications that he looked ready to return, CSNPhilly is reporting that Chris Pronger will miss tonight’s game five between the Flyers and Sabres. The defenseman is still reportedly experiencing pain in the fractured hand that has kept him out of the entire series so far.

The Flyers will also be without Jeff Carter and Andreas Nodl. Carter’s place on the Giroux/van Reimsdyk line will be filled by Darrell Powe, while 24 year old Ben Holmstrom looks likely to take Powe’s place on the fourth line.
