Flyers Vs Bruins: Jeff Carter Back Skating, Could He Return Tonight?

UPDATE at 12:45 p.m: GM Paul Holmgren confirms that Carter will be a game-time decision, his status upgraded from day-to-day. There were no line rushes at practice, so it is unclear who is in and who is out, but speculation is that Carter will dress as a power-play specialist, removing Jody Shelley from the lineup.

Anthony SanFilippo reported that injured Flyers forward Jeff Carter was skating with the team for the first time since he was hurt in the Buffalo series. Carter has been battling a knee sprain, but the Flyers haven’t been incredibly forthcoming about how serious it was.

If Carter is back skating with the team, you can bet there’s a decent chance he’s going to try and get himself into the lineup tonight, especially with the team down 2-0.
