Jaromir Jagr Would Like To Re-Sign With Flyers

A content Jaromir Jagr would like to continue playing for the Flyers next season.

Philadelphia Flyers veteran right winger Jaromir Jagr would like to re-sign with the Flyers for a one-year deal next season (via CSN Philly) and doesn't mind telling everyone about it.

Jagr, 39, is more than willing to pass up more money (potentially $5-6 million) to play elsewhere because he says that he is 'happy' playing for the Flyers because he enjoys the team and the players on it.

"If I play good? I don't think it's going to be a problem because, from my side, I'm happy," he said. "I like this team too much. I don't want to go anywhere."

Jagr made it clear that if he was only playing hockey for money, he would have gone back to Russia.

"If it were about money, I wouldn't have come here when I could have made three times more in Russia."

Jagr currently makes $3.3 million. Jagr has 34 points (12 goals, 22 assists) in 38 games this season.
