Chris Pronger's wife Lauren spoke with CSNPhilly after the Flyers' wives charity fashion show this week and opened up about her husband's condition. The news was pretty sad for both Flyers fans and the Pronger family. She says that it's something they are taking day by day and that some of those days he feels good and others he doesn't. If you watch the video, you can tell that this is something she's truly affected by and worried about.
She said that Chris' injury has been particularly tough on his kids, who used to come with him to practices and watch his games.
↵↵"[The kids] are confused all the time. 'Dad, when can we go to a game, Dad when are you gonna play,' and he looks at them, he's like, 'Please don't ask that question because God knows I want to get out there and I want to play too.' So it's been an adjustment for all of us. He's around a lot more, I'm not used to that, but I do as much as I can to support him and I want to see him better.

She said that unfortunately the day of the fashion show was a "bad day" but she continued, "We're hoping for a better day tomorrow, and at least a couple good days in a row would be nice."
↵It's certainly something we're all hoping for.
