The Philadelphia Flyers host the New York Rangers on Saturday afternoon.

The Philadelphia Flyers snapped a three-game losing skid Thursday. Saturday afternoon, they look to win for the first time in five tries against the New York Rangers in Philadelphia. (1 p.m., CSN-PH)

Philadelphia defeated the Toronto Maple Leafs 4-3 on Thursday. The teams scored three goals apiece in the second period as a flurry of shots hit the back of the net, but Scott Hartnell's tally at 14:38 of the first period provided the final margin. Sergei Bobrovsky, making an unexpected start after Ilya Bryzgalov contracted the flu, stopped 24 shots.

New York has won three out of four, including a 4-3 overtime victory against the Tampa Bay Lightning on Thursday. Martin Biron needed just 14 saves, and Brad Richards netted a shot at 2:37 of the first overtime for his seventh game-winning goal this season. The score was Richards' first overtime winner since 2000-01, when he was just a rookie.
