Flyers Vs. Red Wings Score Update: Philadelphia Takes 3-3 Tie With Detroit Into Third Period

The Philadelphia Flyers twice took one goal leads in the second period, only to see the Detroit Red Wings register a prompt response. Brayden Schenn made the score 2-1 on a 24-foot wristshot, but three minutes later Pavel Datsyuk scored 40 seconds into a powerplay. Maxime Talbot tipped in a deflection to take the lead again, but Henrik Zetterberg was there for the response two minutes later, scoring on a long slapshot late in the period.

Schenn's goal was his second of the night. He found nylon late in the first period on an assist from Danny Briere. Sergei Bobrovsky has faced 21 shots on goal so far. Joey MacDonald is starting in net in place of Jimmy Howard, who is out with a broken index finger. He has faced 19 shots on goal.
