The trade deadline approaches, and the slumping Philadelphia Flyers suddenly look like a team in need of serious upgrades. Prior to the Feb. 27 deadline, the Flyers will likely be active in looking to add a defenseman, if not anything else.
"I don't think they're going to get a top four defenseman, but they need depth on the blue line, no question. Injuries can be a major issue come playoff time and they don't have enough depth there at that position. I would try to add a guy like Hal Gill, a veteran defenseman with the Montreal Canadiens who has playoff experience. The Flyers will be looking, and I think they will add a guy before the trade deadline comes and goes," said CSN Philly hockey analyst Keith Jones.
