Flyers Vs. Bruins Score Update: Flyers Down 2-1 After Two Periods

Ilya Bryzgalov entered the game as the hottest goaltender in the National Hockey League, but surrendered two goals in the first period of the Flyers match-up with the Boston Bruins. A much better second period from both Bryzgalov and the Flyers has allowed them to cut the Bruins lead to a single goal, heading into the final period.

Matt Read scored his 20th goal of the season for the Flyers on a powerplay, mid-way through the second period. Bryzgalov saved all eight shots attempted by the Bruins in the second period, increasing his save percentage to .895 on the game.

The Bruins have won 25 faceoffs, while the Flyers have won just 11.

The Flyers will look to complete their comeback from an early 2-0 deficit in the third and final period. The remainder of the game can be seen on NHLN and CSN-PH.
