Flyers Vs. Bruins Final Score: Flyers Lose In Shootout

The Philadelphia Flyers came into Saturday's match-up with the Boston Bruins as winners of seven of their last eight games, thanks to a brilliant stretch of play from goaltender, Ilya Bryzgalov.

Bryzgalov entered the contest winning seven consecutive games, allowing less than one goal per game and setting a franchise record for most consecutive minutes without allowing a goal. His save percentage was .964 during this stretch.

In Saturday's game, the Bruins cooled off Bryzgalov a bit, scoring twice on him in the first period. The Flyers trailed by two goals after a period, but gathered themselves and were able to tie the game in the third. Bryzgalov shook off his rough start, saving all 22 Bruins shots during the second period, third period and overtime.

The game was lost in a shootout when the Bruins scored three goals on Bryzgalov.
