The Philadelphia Flyers offense exploded on Thursday night in a 7-1 win over the Toronto Maple Leafs. Danny Briere didn't score any goals but had four helpers. Brayden Schenn had two of the goals. Wayne Simmonds had two goals and an assist and Jaromir Jagr had three assists. Danny Briere, Brayden Schenn and coach Peter Laviolette talked about the result after the game to CSN Philly.
Briere noted that all four lines for the Flyers can score and when they are all going at once, that is "dangerous" for an opposing team. Schenn complimented linemates Briere and Simmonds for the offensive outburst. Laviolette said that he could tell the offense was ready to show off even before the Toronto game. He said that the lines had been creating quality chances on the attack. The Flyers have now scored 14 goals in their last three games after scoring 11 in their previous five games.
