The Sixers woke up Saturday morning in an unfamiliar position, looking up at the Boston Celtics in the Atlantic Division standings. With one ugly loss to the Washington Wizards, the Sixers fell from the fourth seed in the Eastern Conference playoff standings to the seventh seed.
Philadelphia could still be considered in the driver's seat to win the division, since the Celtics' final month brings a brutal schedule that includes three games against the Miami Heat, two against the Atlanta Hawks and one each against the Orlando Magic, San Antonio Spurs, Chicago Bulls, Indiana Pacers and Sixers. But the Sixers, losers of six of their last nine, still need to regain their early-season form.
