The Philadelphia Flyers own a one game series lead over the Pittsburgh Penguins in the first round of the 2012 NHL Playoffs. The four and five seeds in the Eastern Conference are in-state rivals and if game one is any indication of how the rest of the seven game series will play out, NHL Fans will have a great one on their hands.

Pittsburgh jumped out to a 3-0 lead in the first period, but as they've done numerous times this season, the Flyers – the second-highest scoring team in the NHL – battled back to tie the game, eventually winning in overtime.

Brayden Schenn scored one of the Flyers goals, adding two assists, and Danny Briere scored twice. Game two is scheduled for Friday in Pittsburgh.

Time: 7:30 p.m. ET
