Contrary to an earlier report saying he was close to re-signing with the Philadelphia Flyers, Jaromir Jagr plans to test free agency, TSN's Darren Dreger reported on Monday.
Jaromir Jagr enjoyed Phildadelphia, but plans on testing free agency. Also plans to change training to shed some lbs and get faster.

The 40-year old Jagr returned after a long NHL hiatus to score 19 goals with 35 assists for 54 points. He added one goal and seven assists for eight points in 11 postseason games.
After the Flyers fell to the New Jersey Devils in the playoffs, Jagr said he doesn't know where he'll play next season. But he also shared a healthy respect for the Flyers organization.
"I have to say thanks for the support from the fans," he said. "I love everybody on this team. That was probably my most enjoyable year I ever had. I win some Cups, I win some trophies, but I love this year. From the organization to the last player on the team, and the fans, they were so nice to me."
