By trading James van Riemsdyk to Toronto, the Flyers have reunited brothers Brayden and Luke Schenn. The two brothers are excited to play together in Philadelphia.
We’re pretty close," Schenn said in a conference call with reporters. "It's surreal right now. It's hard to describe how cool this is."
The younger Schenn "couldn't believe it," Luke Schenn said. "He told me it was a dream come true. It's hard to comprehend right now."
The newest Flyer, Luke, is a 22-year old defenseman that will be an enforcer for Philadelphia. His brother, Brayden, is 20 years old and scored 12 goals in 54 games last season. He was acquired from the Los Angeles Kings a year ago. The two were born in Canada.
