ESPN's Keith Law wrote a list of the top 10 prospects he's most excited to see at this year's MLB futures game on July 10th. Heading the list is Phillies right handed fireballer Jarred Cosart.
↵↵↵By all accounts, Cosart has one of the most electric arms in the minors, with a fastball that sits 93-98 mph and a hammer curveball at 77-80. He's a good athlete, but his delivery is still a little stiff. His athleticism should make that issue easy to smooth out, though. Cosart would have pitched in last year's game but was out with minor arm soreness that went away with time off.

The 21 year old Texan will be pitching for the US team in the "US vs The World" format. He is currently ranked as the #70 prospect in baseball by Baseball America. The Phillies took him in the 38th round of the 2008 MLB Draft.
