Cliff Lee, Phillies Look To Complete Sweep Of Padres

After winning three out of four so far in this series against the San Diego Padres, the Phillies will look to pull out the brooms and complete the sweep in today's matinee (1:05 PM) game.

On the hill for the Phillies will be Cliff Lee (9-6, 2.83 ERA) and he will oppose Aaron Harang (8-2, 3.29 ERA).

The Phillies currently hold a demanding six game lead in the NL East and they don't seem to be slowing down. The bats are hot and the pitching is hotter. And on top of that, the team is getting healthier by the day. The four major injuries remaining are Placido Polanco, Roy Oswalt, Jose Contreras, and Joe Blanton.

After today's game, the Phils will rest up and get ready for a three-game set against the San Francisco Giants, which will start tomorrow night at 7:05 PM. The starters for that game will be Tim Lincecum (8-8, 2.90 ERA) and Vance Worley (6-1, 2.02 ERA).
