Jamie Moyer, who pitched with seven different teams (including the Philadelphia Phillies during his last stop) during his MLB career, is expected to make his comeback official and make the Colorado Rockies roster.

Coincidentally, Moyer was released on this day 20 years ago by the Chicago Cubs. Moyer is 2-0 in four Spring Training appearances for Colorado with a 2.77 ERA and 11 strikeouts in 13 innings.
Moyer pitched for Philadelphia from 2006-2010 and was part of the 2008 Phillies World Series Champion team. Moyer allowed three runs in 6.1 innings in his only World Series appearance in 2008. He struck out five batters and walked one.
The Pennsylvania native played at St. Joseph's before being drafted by the Cubs in 1984. Moyer made his MLB debut in 1986 and has gone on to appear in the majors in four decades. Moyer's career record is 267-204 with a career ERA of 4.24 and 2,405 career strikeouts.
