Phillies Vs. Cubs Preview: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

The Philadelphia Phillies play the Chicago Cubs in an afternoon rubber match-up after winning Saturday's game, 3-2. Should they take the series, the Phillies will guarantee at least a split in the series before Monday's finale.

Kyle Kendrick (0-1, 9.39 RA) continues to fill in for the injured Cliff Lee, making his second start as a member of the rotation. He'll hope this time goes better than his first one, when he allowed seven runs in three-plus innings to the Arizona Diamondbacks. Before that, Kendrick has allowed two runs (one earned) in 4.2 innings as a reliever.

Matt Garza (1-1, 3..38 ERA) will toe the rubber for the Cubs in just his second road start of the season. The Miami Marlins torched him for six runs over five innings in what turned into a 9-1 loss. He rebounded with a seven solid innings of two-run ball in his last outing, but he wound up taking the no-decision in the Cubs' 3-2 victory over the St. Louis Cardinals.

Game time: 1:35 p.m. ET

TV: PHL 17
