Phillies Vs. Rockies: Game Time, TV Schedule And More

After winning the series opener on Tuesday night against the Colorado Rockies, the Philadelphia Phillies will look to make it two in a row on Wednesday.

Joe Blanton will be on the hill for the Fightin' Phils to take on a Colorado team that has come apart at the seams. The Rockies were picked by many this season to be a fringe contender, but that just hasn't happened. Jim Tracy's club is an abysmal 25-41.

Blanton will be looking to turn his campaign around after having a rough start. Blanton is just 6-6 with a ballooned ERA of 4.93. However in his last outing he was almost letter perfect against the Minnesota Twins, giving up just one run in a complete game victory.

Blanton will be opposed by Alex White, who has struggled mightily. White is just 2-5 to go with a 5.56 ERA. The last time White stepped on the field, he only went four innings as the Rockies were handled by the Oakland Athletics.

The Phillies are five games under .500 but still very much alive in the competitive NL East. Now might be a very good time to turn things around against a bad team at home.

TV: CSN

Time: 7:05 p.m. ET
