Phillies Vs. Rays: Preview, Game Time, TV Schedule, Probable Pitchers For Sunday's Doubleheader

Sunday will see the Philadelphia Phillies look to build on Jim Thome's walk-off home run in Saturday's win over the Tampa Bay Rays, taking on the Rays in a day-night doubleheader. Friday's game between the two teams was rained out, resulting in Sunday having two games, the first at 1:05 p.m. ET and the second at 6:35 p.m. ET.

Cole Hamels (10-3, 3.25 ERA) will be on the mound for Philadelphia in Sunday's first game, a bad sign for Tampa Bay. They have a 9-14 record against left handers so far this season, and Hamels posted a 2.77 ERA against them over two starts in the 2005 World Series. David Price (9-4, 3.08 ERA) will pitch for the Rays. His only start vs. the Philies saw him give up ten runs, five earned, in a 2009 loss.

The second game will feature Cliff Lee (0-3, 3.48 ERA) pitching for Philadelphia vs. Alex Cobb (3-3, 3.82 ERA) for the Rays. Lee is winless in 11 starts, but has had run support ranking in the bottom of the league, currently 2.90 runs on average. Tampa Bay last saw Lee when he was pitching for Texas, when he posted a 1.13 ERA en route to two wins in the 2010 Division Series.
