The Philadelphia Phillies have to wait until the 40th pick to make their first selection in Monday night's 2012 MLB Draft.
The Phillies, like every other team, will be looking to unearth a prospect who will one day become an MLB superstar. The coverage of the draft begins at 6 p.m. ET with a pre-draft show and continues at 7 p.m. ET with round one and compensatory picks. Rounds two through 15 take place Tuesday night.
The Phillies will draft later in the night because of their place in the 2012 MLB Draft order.
