Philadelphia Phillies second baseman Chase Utley had another good outing during an extended Spring Training game against the Toronto Blue Jays on Wednesday (via CSN Philly).
Utley was 2-5 at the plate with a double, home run and a walk in the game. He was not made available to reporters after the game was over in Clearwater, Florida. Utley's double came on his first at-bat which went seven pitches. He did run the bases during the game which is a good sign since he is rehabbing his knees.
The team has not announced what is next for Utley but extended Spring Training games will end in the middle of June. After those games end, Utley could be ready for a rehab stint in the minors. He did not play in the field today and was the designated hitter.
