Phillies At Dodgers Recap: Roy Halladay Leads Philly To 3-2 Win In Return

In Roy Halladay's much anticipated return from the disabled list, the Phillies won their fourth straight game with a road victory against the Dodgers by a score of 3-2. Halladay was better than decent in his first start since May 27, allowing just two runs over five innings, without walking a batter and striking out six

The Phillies are already in a deep enough hole for this season to already be a lost cause. But more importantly, they hadn't been able to work with all of their pieces until Tuesday, so even with the reality of being in last place of the NL East, there is plenty of optimism to go around.

This season, the Phillies had been 0-38 after trailing through seven innings. That's until Tuesday when they made a resilient rally in the eighth.
