The Philadelphia Phillies will look to try and end their disappointing first half of their 2012 season on a good note Sunday, as they conclude a three-game set with the Atlanta Braves at Citizen's Bank Stadium (1:35 p.m. ET on PHL 17 or TBS). Vance Worley (4-5) will take the mound for the Phillies and oppose the Braves' Jair Jurrjens (2-2).
Worley will be trying to snap a three-game losing streak for the Phils', who are unexpectedly going to enter the MLB's All-Star break in last place in the NL East Division standings. The rookie is also trying to bounce-back from one of his work start of the season, a four-inning, 10-hit, six-run performance against the New York Mets on Tuesday.
Meanwhile, Jurrjens is making his third start since coming back from a minor-league stint. In that time back, Jurrjens has compiled an ERA is 1.47.
