Phillies Vs. Brewers Final Score: Kyle Kendrick Pitches Gem As Phillies Salvage Split

The Philadelphia Phillies were able to salvage a split in their four-game series with the Brewers, winning by a decisive score of 8-0 Sunday afternoon. Kyle Kendrick pitched well for the Phillies, going eight scoreless innings in which he gave up just three hits and struck out seven.

Outfielder Domonic Brown provided much of the offense for Philadelphia, gathering three hits and driving in four runs. Second baseman Michael Martinez also chipped in with a home run, his second in 54 at-bats this season. In total, the Phillies put together 14 hits, including 10 off of Brewers starter Randy Wolf. Wolf went seven innings in the loss, giving up five runs while striking out four and walking two.

The Phillies welcome the Cincinnati Reds to town for a four-game series starting tomorrow at 7:05 pm.
