Marlins Vs. Phillies Lineup: Kyle Kendrick On The Mound For Philadelphia

The Philadelphia Phillies will begin a three-game series with the Miami Marlins Monday as Philadelphia attempts to keep its postseason hopes alive.

The Phillies have won four straight games and now enter play Monday six games back in the Wild Card race. They will attempt to make up even more ground as they host the Marlins, who have the worst record in the NL East.

Kyle Kendrick (8-10, 3.96 ERA) will get the start for Philadelphia Monday. He's won four of his last five starts, including his last start against Miami. Kendrick is 2-0 against Miami this year, posting a 1.46 ERA over 12-1/3 innings. He's struck out 10 during that stretch while allowing just two earned runs.

The Marlins will counter with Wade LeBlanc (2-3, 2.72 ERA) on the mound. LeBlanc will be making just his seventh start of the season after spending time in both the bullpen and starting rotation this year. LeBlanc hasn't started a game against the Phillies this season but is 1-1 in two career starts against Philadelphia, with an 1.80 ERA.
