Marlins Vs. Phillies Preview: Roy Halladay Goes For Series-Clinching Win

The Philadelphia Phillies will go for their sixth straight win on Tuesday night with Roy Halladay on the mound. The Phillies opened their three-game set against the Marlins on Monday night with a 3-1 win. It was starting pitcher Kyle Kendrick who came through for Charlie Manuel in Game 1, giving up just two hits in seven innings of work.

Halladay will now take the ball and try to keep the winning streak alive. The ace has won three of his last four starts, and is coming off an outing against the Reds where he pitched into the eighth. He shut down a feared Cincinnati lineup, allowing just one run in 7.1 innings of work. He'll look to carry that over against a Marlins team that he's fared well against all season, posting a 2.57 ERA against the Fish. First pitch is set for 7:05 p.m. ET.
