The Philadelphia Union know the stakes when they travel to Robertson Stadium for their second leg with the Houston Dynamo Thursday night (8:30 p.m. ET, ESPN2/ESPN Deportes) - win or go home.

If the Union win by one goal , the teams will compete in a pair of 15-minute overtime periods, followed by penalty kicks if necessary to break a tie. If the Union win by more than one goal, they will advance to the Conference Finals to meet Sporting Kansas City. And if the Union draw or lose, they will have been eliminated from the MLS playoffs.

The Union have played in Houston twice before, winning both games. But neither one carried the impact Thursday night's match will.

"We know we can win there, and we have in the last two seasons," the Union's Danny Califf told PhiladelphiaUnion.com. "While we're down after the first leg, we're still a confident group that we can go there, get the job done and win the match. We'd obviously like to win 2-0 and move on. If not, we'll take a one-goal advantage with overtime and see what happens.

"We're alive in this series. We have to execute our plan and if we do, we're confident in the results that can come."
