Philadelphia Union Vs Chicago Fire preview, game time & TV info

The Philadelphia Union hope to keep the Fire from clinching a playoff spot when they meet in Chicago on Wednesday.

The Philadelphia Union, now officially eliminated from playoff contention, travel to take on the Chicago Fire on Wednesday. Although eliminated the Union look to play spoiler in Chicago, as the Fire can clinch a playoff berth with a win.

Philadelphia has not won on the road in their last six attempts and lost their last outing 3-2 to the Columbus Crew, officially eliminating them from postseason contention. With five games remaining the Union currently sit in eighth place in the Eastern Conference with 30 points.

The Fire are tied for second in the East with 53 points and had a four-game winning streak snapped with their 2-0 loss to Sporting Kansas City on Sept. 28.

Gabriel Gomez and Sheanon Williams are both one yellow card away from a one-match suspension for the Union. Pavel Pardo and Gonzalo Segares for the Fire will be suspended with a yellow card.

Chicago has won the first two meetings between the clubs this season.
