The Columbus Crew are beating the Philadelphia Union 2-0 on Saturday evening at Columbus Crew Stadium.

The Crew has looked dominant early on, scoring the only two markers in the game thanks to Jairo Obando Arrieta. The gifted forward made his presence felt late in the first half, finding the back of the net in the 44th minute and in extra time.

Despite the Union controlling possession for 62 percent of the time, Columbus has been able to dictate play by outshooting Philadelphia 8-2. The Crew have also been accurate, putting five of them on frame while the Union is yet to test Columbus' goalkeeper, Andy Gruenebaum.

The contest has been player within the rules for the most part, with only Union defender Amobi Okugo drawing a yellow card.

Columbus is desperate for a win, as it currently sits sixth in the Eastern Conference, just one point behind the Houston Dynamo for the fifth and final playoff slot.
