The Philadelphia 76ers are off to a 2-2 start, with wins on either side of a home-and-home sweep at the hands of the New York Knicks. Bob Ford of Philly.com reports that head coach Doug Collins believes things will get better for the Sixers team that advanced to the conference semifinals a year ago.
The 76ers had plenty of roster shakeup in the offseason, the most obvious of which was dealing star Andre Iguodala in exchange for Andrew Bynum. There is still an adjustment period, and Collins just wants fans and the media to be patient, as just four of the 82 scheduled games have been played.
