The 16-6 Philadelphia 76ers are in the midst of the toughest part of their schedule early on in this 2011-12 season. So far they've hosted Dwight Howard and the Orlando Magic and Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls and won both games fairly, and surprisingly, easy. Tonight they host two more mega-stars in LeBron James, Dwyane Wade and the Miami Heat before traveling to Atlanta to face the Hawks in the second game of a back-to-back on Saturday night.

The Sixers have faced both the Heat and Hawks once earlier this season, losing to the Heat in Miami and beating the Hawks in Philadelphia. This weekend the home/road will be split as Miami comes to Philadelphia and the Sixers travel to Atlanta. In the Heat and Hawks, the Sixers will be facing two teams with a combined record of 32-13 this season.

The Philadelphia 76ers look to make it two consecutive wins against the Eastern Conference's elite when they host the Miami Heat tonight.

The 16-6 Philadelphia 76ers are two days removed from their biggest win of the season, a 16 point win over Derrick Rose and the Chicago Bulls. Tonight they look to follow up their blowout victory of the Bulls with another win against the Eastern Conference's elite, the Miami Heat.

The Heat own an identical 16-6 record and a 6-4 record on the road, where they'll be playing tonight, in the Wells Fargo Center. These two teams last played in Miami on January 21 with the Sixers losing by a final score of 113-92. The 21 point loss is, by far, the Sixers' worse loss of the season. These two teams also met last April in the Playoffs where the Sixers lost four of five to the eventual Eastern Conference champs.

Tip is at 7 Eastern.
