Last Time Out: Temple trailed 7-3 against Miami (Ohio) last weekend, but scored 14 straight points in the second quarter and never trailed again, finishing with a 24-21 win. The Owls were led by Matt Brown, who rushed for 123 yards and a touchdown while filling in for the injured Bernard Pierce.
Army was without its top two running backs last week and fell to Rutgers, 27-12, for the team's sixth consecutive road loss this season. The Black Knights, who lead the nation in rushing, ran for a season-low 228 yards as Raymond Maples and Trent Steelman missed the game with injuries.
